Comparing airline tickets could be a really difficult job to do, if you don't have to time to visit each airline's website and search for the different prices for your destination.

Recently, ticketing agents and airlines themselves have made this chore a lot easier for passengers and prospective passengers by providing price comparison websites .

Planning a holiday and trying to save a few quid in the process, have now been made easier by these flight comparison websites. Although this industry is not the only one which provides this service, it is probably the only one which most people use for planning a holiday or simply taking a trip.

A note of caution here is that travelling to the airport to connect with your flight may cost you more than you had originally saved on booking the ticket. The two major travelling cost could be calculated in terms of petrol cost (which is very high and rising regularly) and travelling time to and from the airport. Other factors do come into play but these are the two major ones which need to be considered
